Heat Vision and Jack

This post is to call your attention to the pilot episode of Heat Vision and Jack, created by Ben Stiller in 1999 (and never aired). It stars Jack Black as former astronaut Jack Austin, who becomes super-intelligent when exposed to the sun's rays, and Owen Wilson as the voice of Heat Vision, Jack's talking motorcycle. See the pilot online here. Soon you'll be quoting such lines as "All monkey sluts will be absorbed," and "If fate makes you a motorcycle, you become a motorcycle.” Great stuff.

Mammoth news

I sort of like it when some new discovery changes what we thought we knew about something, like this story that mammoths may have come in different colors, including red and blond. That makes mammoths a lot cuter.

I wasn't sure if I was going to post this link or not, but then I noticed that there are little mice sitting on the mammoths' trunks in the Yahoo picture. That's worth sharing.
