New look (and URL)

So, the redesign is done enough, I guess, to share with others. Welcome to the new site! I'll probably still tweak it here and there, but so far I am pleased with the simpler look.

I've moved the blog to the main swatkins.info page, so both of you loyal readers should update your bookmarks.

Just Touching Base

I've been avoiding the blog lately. I do this when it's time for a change. Sometimes the ideas have to mull and creep and crawl around inside my head for a while before I let them out (like they did that time at Macy's during the semi-annual Lincoln's Birthday sale).

My plan is to somehow consolidate the various Web pages that I work on, but I haven't figured out how yet.

What's new with me? I'm contributing to a brand new blog called Blern that will focus on instructional technology issues. I've been sharpening my poker skills over the last few weeks. I attended the latest World Beer Fest last weekend. My neck hurts a little.
