For your consideration: a d20 made out of pecan pies, a description of what would really happen if you were exposed to the vacuum of space, and there's a new Line Rider out! It has an eraser!

Delicious turkeys
I'm going out of town this week to celebrate the eating of turkeys. Hooray, turkeys! I may or may not post while away, so this message you are reading now should be either considered an explanation for the lack of posts, or it should probably just be ignored.

Good News
Wow. Today the Democrats took control of the House, and it looks like they may take the Senate too, and that prick Rumsfeld actually resigned. This has been a pretty good day for news. I don't want to get too optimistic, but maybe things in this country will have a chance to move in a different direction.
Thank you, America (or some of you at least), for voting those lying evil idiots out of power.

Poker and such
So what's new with me? I won a poker tournament last night, no money but I did win a $35 tab at a local pool hall... that will pay for a few beers in upcoming weeks of poker. Yay me! I had some really good luck in terms of the cards I got dealt. Pocket aces four times -- I'm not complaining.
Just watched South Park - it was hilarious. Richard Dawkins and the Wii and Buck Rogers and sea otters. "Know this, time-child: I shall smash your skull, like a clam on my belly!" Excellent. Lost was pretty good too.
Some things are clicking into place. Some other things are askew. Business as usual, I guess.
